Sephiroth wasnt alone for long. In his mid-teens he met a man named Zack, who was already a First class SOLDIER just like he was. Sephiroth and Zack became allies to eachother and were always together durring practice spars and missions. Sephiroth's first real mission was to attack the city of Wutai. Sephiroth became the general of the ShinRa army while the war against Wutai went on. With his leadership the ShinRa won the war against Wutai. Sephiroth had proved himself once again to be the greatest warrior on the planet.
Zack looked up to Sephiroth and hoped he's be as strong as he was someday.
Sephiroth's mission to the Nibelheim mountains would his last. For Zack it was his first real SOLDIER mission and he was excited as ever. To Sephiroth it was just any other normal mission; one to envestigate a near-by Mako reactor.
Accompaning them was a ShinRa soldier named Cloud. He explaned how Nibelhiem was his home town... Sephiroth wondered what it felt like... to have a home town... to have a past... a family... the only thing he knew about himself was that Jenova was his mother... at least... that's what Hojo told him. He said she had died giving birth to him... Hojo never told him anything about his father...
Sephiroth went and took refuge at the local inn, while Cloud and Zack went to look around the village. Sephiroth went straight to the window of his room and looked out. He could see Mt. Nibel... it was strange... It was almost as if that mountain was calling to him. Sephiroth stared at the mountain for hours, it was calling his name... He waited almost impatiently for Zack and Cloud to come back to the inn, so they could get some rest and get to the mountain quickly in the morning. Zack came up behind Sephiroth asking if anything was the matter. Sephiroth snapped out of his trance-like state and ordered both soldiers to get some rest for an early day the next day...
Sephiroth woke at dawn and quickly headed outside to wait for his three soldiers and the guide that would lead them up the mountain. They all met in front of the ShinRa Mansion. Sephiroth saw Cloud quickly hide his face when the young guide came along. Tifa was her name. It was almost obvious that Cloud knew this girl but didnt want to be seen by her. As they were about to leave, a man with a camera came up to Sephiroth asking his he could take a group photo of all of them. Sephiroth didnt like the idea, but Zack and Tifa quickly huddled together next to him, letting the man take a picture.
Sephiroth and the others quickly headed up the mountain, being led by the guide, Tifa. Sephiroth heard his name being called over and over again... Who was it!? Sephiroth felt as if he had gone mad, but quickly kept ignoring the voices, heading onward.
As they were crossing a bridge up the mountain it snapped and all five fell into a deep ditch. Sephiroth wondered if they could still get up to the reator from here. Tifa said that they could, but also that one of the soldiers were missing. Sephiroth didnt pay attention and kept going. There was no time to waste for him. He had to get to the reactor...
Once there, Sephiroth and Zack entered, leaving Cloud and Tifa outside. Sephiroth was shocked at the site he had seen. Human-like monsters inside pods, filled with liquid Mako! Sephiroth looked to the stairs, seeing a sign above a bolted door, "Jenova" ... Jenova was his mother... could the person or thing behind that door be the same?? He looked at the monster inside the pod, remembering how he was drenched in Mako the same exact way... Was he like them!? Was he just like those monsters??! Zack tried to calm Sephiroth down, telling him that it wasnt true. Sephiroth left the reactor in a hurry...
Once down the mountain, Sephiroth hid away in the ShinRa Mansion, down in the basement. Down there were kept every single bit of information on ShinRa, Mako, and... The Jenova project. Sephiroth spent countless hours down there, reading every single book... His whole life had now become clear to him. Since Jenova was an Ancient and Jenova was his mother... Then he must be an Ancient also! And with that, making him the ruler of this planet!
Cloud, worried about Sephiroth, and went down to the basement to check on him. Sephiroth pushed past Cloud, saying "Out of my way! I'm going to see my mother!"
In a burning rage, Sephiroth set the village of Nibelhiem on fire, and killing anyone who got in his way. Cloud ran into the burning village to see his home, his mother... all gone.
Tifa's father went after Sephiroth as he reached the reactor. Sephiroth turned and with one swipe of his Masamune, Tifa's father was dead. Tifa ran up to her father to see if she could help him... but it was too late, he was gone. Tifa ran up behind Sephiroth as he reached the top of the stairs about to open the door to Jenova's room. She grabbed hold of his Masamune, but Sephiroth tugged backand raised his Masamune. He wanted to stop, but something was controling him! He swung his Masamune down, splitting the girl's side. She fell back, landing at the bottom of the stairs...
Sephiroth stood before the door, asking Jenova to open the door, so he could see her. The door opened and he went inside. Zack ran in after him and tried to reason with him, asking him why he was doing this. Zack got no answer and was blasted with a blinding punch, sending him flying out of the room and landing on one of the pods...
Sephiroth walked up to the machine in front of him. "Those worthless creatures... are trying to steal the planet from Mother... But now I'm here with you... So don't worry..." He said. He scowled and ripped the machine in front of Jenova's pod apart with is bare hands. He walked up to the pod, placing his hand on the cool glass, gazing at Jenova...
Cloud finally showed up, devistated at what Sephiroth had done to Tifa! He moved her to the side to get out of the way. Cloud grabbed Zack's sword and ran up the steps and into the room where Sephiroth was. Mercilessly he stabbed the sword into the back of Sephiroth, demanding that he give back the dear things he took from him... His, mother, his home, his friends. Cloud has always admired Sephiroth, and this is how he repaid him...
With another blinding punch, Sephiroth sent Cloud flying out of the room. Sephiroth felt no pain from the wound in his back. He couldnt control his movements at all. It was as if he were a puppet! But who was doing this to him!? Sephiroth broke open the glass of the pod and cut the head of Jenova off. Sephiroth took the head and walked back down the stairs...
Cloud finally came to as Sephiroth walked past him. "Cloud... Kill... Sephiroth..." Zack said to him. Cloud ran after Sephiroth, shouting his name. "Sephiroth!!" Sephiroth turned around, quickly impailing Cloud with his Masamune. He lifted Cloud up off the ground as he screamed in agoney! Cloud then tugged on the blade of the Masamune as Sephiroth lowered the sword. Cloud tugged harder then lifted Sephiroth up! "No! It cannot be!" Sephiroth shouted in terror as Cloud swung him over the side of the catwalk, letting Sephiroth fall into the deep Mako below...

Not many know the full story, from begining to end... nor do many people understand what happened... I'm about to tell you the life of the greatest man that ever walked into the Final Fantasy Series...
Long before the incident 5 years ago... Long before Cloud and Tifa even came into exsistance, a dream was born into the world, thanks to the experties of four ordinary people. Professor Gast, a man who studied the ways of the ancients and a world renound scientist. Professor Hojo, a novice in the world of science and technology at the time and a raving madman, striving for power. Vincent Valentine, the body-guard of these scientists durring their visit to Nibelhiem. Lucrecia.. the woman that would change the lives of so many, by bringing a misguided creature into the world..
Back then, ShinRa was not even half the power it had gained in the years ahead, but it still had the money to hired three scientists to investigate a 2000 year old specimen that was found covered in ice. Hojo was convinced this creature was one of the legendary Ancients who once populated this land and journeyed across it in hopes of finding the Promiss Land. He dubbed this creature.. Jenova. Gast was sceptical on this beings true where-abouts but went along with the experiment as planned. The reason he was so sceptical was, for he had found a woman who claimed to be an Ancient! Gast dare not tell Hojo about what he had found... for what he had seen how he treated his 'specimens' was truely inhumane.. so for the time being, she was kept a secret. Lucrecia as well had her doubts on weather this creature was an ancient. She was the only one who would have the nerve to contridict him and Hojo dispised her for that.
Before Sephiroth was even born, these were four people who contributed to his birth.... Lucrecia, Vincent Valentine, Professor Hojo, and Professor Gast. In the begining, Professor Gast had found what he thought to be and ancient deep in a cave. It was the legendary Jenova, The great "Crisis from the sky." Unfortunate that Professor Gast did not know this. Gast and Professor Hojo took Jenova back to their laboratory in Nibelhiem's ShinRa Mansion. There they, along with Scientist Lucrecia, studied the specimen. For many years they did experiment after experiment on the Ancient Jenova.
Lucrecia had her doubts about weather or not Jenova was a true Ancient, or Cetra as they were properly called. But Hojo... he was obsessed with Jenova, he knew she had to be one of the Cetra. He dispised Lucrecia, but for some odd reason, Lucrecia adored him. She was fasinated by his work and how intelligent he was. Hojo didnt even notice, and would be sickened at even the thought of having a relation ship with her.
While Hojo and Lucrecia did their work they were both gaurded by a Turk, hiered by the president of ShinRa. His name was Vincent Valentine. Vincent often stood outside the mansion very bored. Not much happened in Nibelhiem. It was a quiet, peaceful town. He wondered why he was even needed to guard the two scientists... when there was nothing to guard them from... Vincent had a facination with Lucrecia... he wondered how anyone could be so otimistic about everything... He was almost jealous, wishing he could be like that. Vincent loved Lucrecia very much, and she knew he did... but there was still... Hojo. She could never get him out of her mind...
Hojo had a plan to take the cells from Jenova and put them into other organisms, such as... an unborn human-being. He knew if he could accomplish this he'd be the only one ever able to have a live Cetra. And with the help of Mako he could make the being's abilities enhanced by almost 99%! Hojo knew of only one person he could get his cluches on to do this horrible experiment to... Lucrecia.
Vincent over-heard a conversation between Lucrecia and Hojo. Lucrecia was unsure to go through the opperation... Vincent despratly tried to convince her of not going through and to run away with him, where Hojo would never find them. Lucrecia turned down the offer and Vincent was crushed... Vincent spent one last night with Lucrecia, the night before the opperation would be done... He told her how much he loved her and he hopes she thinks she made the right choice.
Lucrecia went through with the opperation the next day, where Hojo insiminated his own cells into her. In a despraed effort to stop her from going through with it, Vincent attacked Hojo but was emidiatly done away with by him... Vincent was then locked up for many many years in the basement of ShinRa Mansion, where for years Hojo did terrible experiments to him. Unfortunate for Vincent... He never knew that child inside Lucrecia... was realy his. The last night Vincent spent with Lucrecia was the night she became pregnant... no one ever knew...
Durring the nine months Lucrecia was pregnant, Hojo inserted many of Jenova's cells into the unborn infant. nine months went by all too quickly and Lucrecia had the child... a boy which was honorably named "Sephiroth"
Hojo selfishly never let Lucrecia hold her child. Lucrecia then knew the truth... That Hojo never really loved her and was really... only using her...
For years Lucrecia watched from afar as her son grew up, knowing Hojo would never let her near him. Hojo emediatly had young Sephiroth enrolled in SOLDIER. Hojo never let Lucrecia know what he did with Vincent... she was now truely alone.
Sephiroth grew up an outcast... The other children enrolled in SOLDIER poked fun at him, knowing he was different from the rest of them. Sephiroth never had anyone to comfort him... Sephiroth only knew Hojo as one of his mentors, along with Professor Gast. Sephiroth hated Hojo, everything about him sickened and upset him. He ran each time Hojo came near. But Gast was different, Gast was warmhearted and was someone he truely looked up to. But one day Gast left, only telling Sephiroth where he was going... "To the Mountains." Gast, however left to get some information from a REAL Cetra... one that only he knew about. He dare not tell Hojo about her... about Ifalna.... Gast never retured and Sephiroth was alone again. Sephiroth knew he was different, but he didnt care... He knew he was better than the rest of the students... He could do things they never could... He was smarter, quicker, and stronger than the rest of them, and he knew it well...
As the years went on with his training as a SOLDIER the rest of the students began to fear and respect Sephiroth, finally seeing his true power. Still, Sephiroth was alone...

Hey I have a profile for Seph.I wanted to kow what FF characters are taken here... Sephiroth Age: 30 Sephiroth wears a unique set of clothing. He has a black clothes, with the collar low to reveal his muscular chest with a pair of straps and a metal disk. His shoulders have white steel shoulder pads, each with three holes in them. Black clothes cover his hands and he has black metal rings on his arms and legs. He wears black leather boots on his feet. The giant weapon Masamune is normally seen at his waist. His eyes are a piercing turquoise, enhanced by mako to make them seem like they are looking right through you. Sephiroth has long silver hair that reaches to his lower back. The fringe has two raised areas, and his hair frames his handsome face. Height: 6'1" Sephiroth has two personalities. The first is cold, calm and uncaring. Underneath that there is a burning curiosity about his past, because he knows he is different. He is mildly sardonic, and sometimes snipes at people with sarcasm, although it's rare. The second is put simply, insane. He believes himself to be the true inheritor of the Planet, and that to do this he needs to wipe out human life on it. Later he changes that belief to he must finish Jenova's mission, and destroy the planet. Both have certain qualities though. Both are brave and terrifying in battle, and both hate Hojo. Strengths:Everything about him... Weaknesses:None Weapon: The Masamune. A giant sword of abnormally long length, only Sephiroth has the combination of strength and dexterity needed to wield it. There are several rumours about the weapons origins, including that it was has the power of the Ancients in it and that it is demon-forged. If Sephiroth knows Masamune's origins he isn't saying./Ancients Armor Limit Breaks:Level 1: Peace - Sephiroth leaps forward and slashes an enemy, his Masamune glowing a light blue. Slows the enemy and causes petrify. Dogma - Sticking Masamune's blade into the ground, then is surrounded by a healing glow that restores him to full health. Level 2: Heartless Angel - Multi coloured light surrounds an enemy, before zooming in for heavy damage. Stigma - Hurts then confuses any one it hits, a white orb zooms around randomly hitting people Level 3: Shadow Flare - The whole area is turned white, and one person is blasted with darkness. Super Nova - Teleports the target to another dimension, where a Super Nova has just been caused by a rogue comet, before bringing them back. Take an enemy to the verge of death, but never beyond Level 4: One Winged Angel - Sephiroth becomes the one winged Angel, and unleashes a devastating storm of power upon his enemies.Sephiroth, the super-kawaii bishonen, is the main bad guy in Final Fantasy VII. He is a top-ranking member of SOLDIER, ShinRa's elite force. He is looked up to by all, until one day in Nibelheim, 5 years before FFVII's story begins. He goes with some soldiers (one of whom is Cloud) and another (low-ranked) member of SOLDIER to Nibelheim, which is Cloud's hometown. Tifa comes along as a guide. Their mission is to eradicate monsters and fix the problem with the Nibelheim Mako Reactor. When Sephiroth gets there, he finds out that the Mako reactor also holds two gruesome secrets: Mako-infused humans who have become monsters and sealed up in cocoons; and the Jenova project. Sephiroth never knew his father, and his mother's name was Jenova (or so he thought), so he had the idea that he might have been created in the same way that those monsters had in the Reactor. Sephiroth went to the abandoned ShinRa mansion in Nibelheim to study all he could about the Mako monsters and the Jenova Project. When he finds out some information, he leaves in a rage and sets fire to Nibelheim, stabbing various and sundry villagers that get in his way. When he gets to the Reactor, he stabs Tifa's father and goes in. Tifa follows and Sephiroth wrests his sword from her and stabs her, making her fall down the stairs. Sephiroth enters Jenova's room, rips the cover off the huge tube where her body is, and begins speaking to his mother's preserved corpse. Zack comes in and is wounded by Sephiroth. Cloud, running in, helps Tifa and stabs Sephiroth. As Cloud is leaving, Sephiroth emerges from Jenova's room, holding her severed head. He stabs Cloud, but Cloud knocks him off the bridge and knows no more...After the incident at Nibelheim, ShinRa reported that Sephiroth was dead. All those that died at Nibelheim were collected by Hojo and injected with Jenova's cells and Mako energy to become Sephiroth clones. It turns out that Hojo had married Lucrecia, Vincent's girlfriend, and she had given birth to Sephiroth. Hojo had injected all three of them (himself included) with Jenova cells. He cloned his son to prove a theory about the Reunion, in which Jenova's cells come together. He then restored Nibelheim to its original form and installed actors to play the parts of villagers. Sephiroth's real body did not dissolve into the Lifestream, but was in the North Cave, in a crystal. (I have no idea how it got there) The Reunion was supposed to take place at the North Cave. After chasing Sephiroth all over the world, Cloud finds out that he was really being summoned by Sephiroth, since he was a clone himself...but a failed clone, not even assigned a number. Tifa had escaped because her martial arts teacher, Zangan, rescued her before ShinRa got to her.
